Florida is made up of a large diverse population – perhaps what unites many of us is the very fact that Florida ISN’T our first home. Whether you are a native or a “transplant” from elsewhere, we are all in need of community.
Community is about place – specifically, about finding a place called home (even if it’s your “home away from home”) and a place where you belong.
Community is also about people, about culture, and about what unites us as a group while honoring each person’s unique story and character.
Church at the Bar of Florida offers authentic community - a place and a people that help us feel accepted. We celebrate the diversity found here in the greater Tampa & Brandon area. We desire to be the presence of God’s love in our local community, welcoming people from all walks of life and helping them to grow in a Life with God.
Betty and I saw your web site on the recent Commons from Western Seminary../we noted that your began your work in August of 2011. We have some interest in Western, the Reformed Church, and in the spread of the Good News. We have very little disposable income, but we do pray a lot.
